Lately some of the more personal stuff has gone friends only for obvious reasons but, for the most part, 90% of this blog is open to all.
I've always said that I don't write for other people, I write for myself. I'm beginning to re-think that idea because I've always been under the impression that writing what you ate for breakfast that day is just plain boring. Sure, I don't want to read about that when I look back on all this in the future, but I'm sure you don't either. So, in a way, I do write for you.
Why do I write for you? Well, I love it how people will take the time to read about your life, why should anyone care? So, ya know, I figured that I might as well entertain people if they're going to come to my little corner of the web. I hope to make you smile, make you laugh, and bombard you with useless information that you really don't need to know but will thank me for it in the end (I hope).
Finally, I write this journal because I enjoy every single minute. I look at some people on LiveJournal and they make it seem like a chore to update their journal often. If it seems like a chore then why bother doing it? I only do it because I have fun and like to think it's nurturing my writing talents.
Speaking of writing I do write fiction but I also write a fair amount of satire or posts in the form of news articles but they're really just made up crap like The Onion. I also make up stories about little people in my kitchen, or a superhero that's also a Polo Mint. Yes, I'm also batshit crazy.
Oh, and I also post a tonne of photos.
In a nut shell I'm a graduate who doesn't know what the hell to do with his life, so I quell my fear by making fun of life.
